Sustainable Organic Materials
Research Center

"We explores innovative molecular, polymeric, and supramolecular systems

to enable a more sustainable future."

We pursue broad, curiosity-driven research across synthesis, assembly, photonics, and emerging technologies—without restricting ourselves to any single material class or application.
By combining creative molecular design with fundamental understanding, we aim to develop new principles, tools, and platforms that advance science and benefit society.

Research

1. Building Molecules, Building Function

We create new organic and polymeric structures that serve as the foundations of advanced materials.
Through molecular design and supramolecular assembly, we uncover how small structural changes lead to big functional outcomes.

2. Engineering Light at the Molecular Scale

We develop innovative luminophores for sensing, OLED technologies, and bioimaging.
By understanding and manipulating photophysical processes, we transform simple molecules into powerful, light-generating systems.

3. Sustainability Through Smart Materials

We design materials that contribute to a circular and environmentally responsible future.
Our research includes recyclable adhesives, pollutant-capturing systems, and responsive interfaces that enable sustainable technologies.
